About

Advocates of a more moderate approach to fitness

Longevity isn’t built on trends or extremes—it’s built on consistency.

Daily movement. Movement that feels good—not like a punishment for eating that chocolate cake your mom made. Because life is short. So, we want you to eat the cake. We want you to live your life—and we want you to live it fully.

At Éterna, we’re advocates of a more moderate approach to movement. Because we believe movement is a privilege. So, we blend Classical Pilates classes with personalized strength training programs for a more complete approach to movement that feels good—and can last a lifetime.

Strength training builds power.
Pilates builds control. Together, they build your body’s capacity for longevity.

Returning to the original principles of Pilates in every class we teach

In his 1945 tome, Return to Life Through Contrology, Joseph Pilates argued that modern life—poor posture, inefficient breathing, and the disconnection between body and mind—negatively impact health. Eighty years later, his argument couldn’t be more relevant.

So, we return to the original principles of Classical Pilates in every class we teach. Because Pilates was never meant to be trendy. It was never meant to be exclusive. It was meant to rebuild strength, restore mobility, and recover function. At Éterna, that’s the whole point.

The Principles of Pilates

  • Breath

Control the breath to control each movement

  • Concentration

Concentrate the mind to connect with the body

  • Centering

Center the core as the powerhouse of each movement

  • Control

Control each movement with command of the muscles

  • Precision

Execute each movement with precision for maximum benefit

  • Flow

Aspire to flow through each movement for efficiency

Meet Jenna

Here for every version of you

I’ve lived versions of myself, too: An elite competitive figure skater. A certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor. An everyday mover. I’ve faced injury, illness, and loss—of my sport and my identity. And movement has carried me through every age and stage, bringing me back to myself and reminding me of my strength and resilience in body and mind.

I came to Pilates through figure skating. For eight years, I’d trained at the level of Olympic athletes: Four hours of skating and two hours of cross-training every day. Pilates was my recovery. My reminder that we can’t push our bodies without listening to them. Pilates made me listen. It gave back to me what figure skating took: A stronger mind-body connection. A sense of calm.

When my figure skating career ended by concussion, I had to learn to discern between training for my sport and training for myself. My relationship with movement is no longer extreme—nor is it a punishment, but a privilege. It’s built on gratitude, moderation, and the integration of the movement practices I love. That’s the kind of movement I want for you, too.

Today, I’m a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer. I work with competitive athletes and everyday movers. I work with healthy bodies, injured bodies, and recovering bodies. I partner with coaches and physiotherapists, and I work with your body, needs, and goals, delivering Pilates classes and strength training programs to complement how you already move, work, and live.

This is your invitation to move with me.
